Medical Center of Lewisville names LaSharndra Barbarin CEO: 5 things to know

Medical Center of Lewisville (Texas) has named LaSharndra “Sharn” Barbarin CEO.

Here are five things to know about Ms. Barbarin.

1. Ms. Barbarin will begin her new role July 6.

2. Ms. Barbarin served as COO of Medical Center of Arlington (Texas) for four years prior to this promotion to CEO of Medical Center of Lewisville.

3. Before serving as COO of Medical Center of Arlington, Ms. Barbarin was COO of the Medical Center of McKinney (Texas) where she served nine years.

4. Early in her career, Ms. Barbarin served as an administrative fellow at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving, Texas.

5. Ms. Barbarin graduated from LouisianaStateUniversity in Baton Rouge and holds a master’s degree in health administration from TulaneUniversity in New Orleans.
