McLaren Northern Michigan's new CEO is Todd Burch: 5 takeaways

Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care appointed Todd Burch president and CEO of Petoskey-based McLaren Northern Michigan, effective April 29.

Five takeaways:

1. Mr. Burch most recently served as CEO of the Southern Region for Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus.

2. He has prior experience as COO of Marshalltown (Iowa) Medical and Surgical Center and CEO of Greeley County Health Services in Tribune, Kan.

3. He also served as president and founder of Red Rock Health Ventures, a healthcare consulting firm.

4. Mr. Burch holds a Master of Science degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

5. He is the permanent successor to David M. Zechman, who retired at the end of 2018.
