Five things to know:
1. Dr. Gray is chair of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center in Arizona and of Mayo’s Breast Specialty Council. He is also vice chair of Mayo’s department of surgery in Arizona.
2. He is a professor of surgery at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and was named Mayo Clinic Distinguished Educator of the Year in 2013.
3. He joined Mayo Clinic in Arizona in 1995 and completed his surgical oncology fellowship there.
4. Dr. Gray recently co-chaired a project to deploy a unified EHR platform at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
5. He is the permanent successor of Wyatt Decker, MD, who retired in December 2018.
