Alyssa Chapital, MD, PhD, has been named vice president of Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin, effective Nov. 3, according to an Aug. 11 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Chapital will succeed Richard Helmers, MD, who has served as vice president of Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin for the last two years.
Dr. Chapital has more than 20 years of leadership experience at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She serves as chair of the clinical practice committee, vice chair of the executive operations team and associate professor of Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minn.
“In her new role, Dr. Chapital will partner with administrative and nursing leaders, Kenneth Ackerman and Kelly Buchholtz, to build on Mayo Clinic Health System’s commitment to delivering exceptional care and advancing the health of communities across Wisconsin,” the release said.
