Four points:
1. Ms. Nimoh previously served as state director of victim services for MADD Pennsylvania, an advocacy group focused on helping victims of drunk driving, and secretary of the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons.
2. She has also led numerous initiatives to improve state-run afterschool and drug recovery programs.
3. Ms. Nimoh is on several boards, including the Providence Afterschool Alliance and Rhode Island School for Progressive Education.
4. Ms. Nimoh received a master’s degree in public administration from Penn State University in State College, Pa.
