Matt Hasbrouck to step into COO role at Memorial Health: 4 things to know

Savannah, Ga.-based Memorial Health selected Matt Hasbrouck to serve as COO, according to a Savannah Now report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Hasbrouck will assume his new role once the sale of Memorial Health to Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare is complete. The acquisition will likely close in January 2018, after which Memorial Health will become a part of Charleston, S.C.-based HCA South Atlantic Division.

2. Mr. Hasbrouck most recently served as COO at HCA’s Trident Medical Center in Charleston.

3. Prior to that, he was COO at HCA’s Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Ga.

4. He will join Shayne George, who has been appointed CEO.
