Massachusetts system names CFO

South Weymouth, Mass.-based South Shore Health has appointed Stephen Jenney senior vice president and CFO/treasurer.

Mr. Jenney joined South Shore as vice president of finance in May after previously serving as CFO and treasurer for Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization in Boston. At BWPO, he oversaw overall financial operations, including revenue cycle performance, financial reporting, and operating and capital planning.

He developed policy and monitored key performance indicators to drive performance at BWPO, which has more than 3,600 employees, including 2,000 employed physicians, and over $1 billion in revenue, according to a Oct. 12 news release. 

Mr. Jenney has served as interim CFO of South Shore since Kristine Hanscom left the health system in June.
