Daniel Egan, MD, was named chief of emergency medicine at New Brunswick, N.J.-based Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and chair of the department of emergency medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, also in New Brunswick.
In this role, Dr. Egan will lead clinical teams at one of the state’s busiest emergency departments, according to a Sept. 24 system news release. He will step into his role in November.
He currently serves as vice chair of education in the department of emergency medicine at Boston-based Mass General Brigham.
