Mark Kimball is Erlanger Murphy Medical Center’s new CEO: 4 things to know

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System named Mark Kimball CEO of Erlanger Murphy (N.C.) Medical Center, effective June 4.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Kimball most recently served as COO of NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn.

2. He also has prior healthcare leadership experience at Archbold Medical Center in Camilla, Ga., and Phoebe-Putney Health System in Albany, Ga.

3. He is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Erlanger finalized its acquisition Murphy Medical Center April 1. The hospital is Erlanger’s first in North Carolina.
