Here are four things to know about Ms. Kolcun.
1. In her role, she will lead all hospital philanthropy and fundraising programs. She will also act as president of the Marin General Hospital Foundation.
2. Previously, Ms. Kolcun was chief development officer for the Palo Alto (Calif.) Medical Foundation where she increased the total funds raised annually from $8 million to $23.9 million in 2015, and reduced the cost of funds raised from 31 percent in 2011 to 16 percent in 2015, according to a news release.
3. She also previously managed major gifts fund development at California Pacific Medical Center Foundation, based in San Francisco.
4. Ms. Kolcun graduated from University of Florida in Gainesville.
