Map Revenue Cycle Solutions promotes Karen Pilley to CEO: 5 things to know

Here are five things to know about Ms. Pilley.

1. In her CEO role, she will be responsible for implementing significant growth in the revenue cycle management business, including potential acquisitions of other billing companies and growth outside the behavioral health vertical, according to a news release.

2. She previously served as COO of Map Health Management, the parent company of Map RCS.

3. Ms. Pilley also held positions with Virtual Radiology, a network of onsite and teleradiology physicians; revenue cycle management organization SPI Healthcare; and US Oncology, as the vice president of reimbursement services.

4. She is a certified coder and licensed instructor with the American Academy of Professional Coders, and is affiliated with various other healthcare associations.

5. Ms. Pilley earned a nursing degree from Lewis A. Wilson School of Nursing in New York.
