Jill Graziano, BSN, RN, has joined Portland, Maine-based MaineHealth as president of its Coastal Region, effective Sept. 21, according to a Sept. 29 news release shared with Becker’s.
In the role, Ms. Graziano leads strategy and operations across the region, working with hospital, medical group and system leaders on quality, safety, access, financial performance and regional integration, the release said.
She joins MaineHealth from Rochester, N.Y.-based Rochester Regional Health, where she was president and COO of Unity Hospital in Rochester and United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, N.Y. The two hospitals have a combined 602 beds, about $950 million in revenue, 5,600 staff members and 1,800 providers, according to the release.
She previously served as the system’s senior vice president of extended care, pharmacy and care management and as vice president of behavioral health and ElderONE, its Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Earlier in her career, she held leadership and clinical roles with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and in emergency, long-term and home healthcare.

MaineHealth operates a level 1 trauma center and eight additional licensed hospitals, with about 23,000 care team members and more than 2,000 employed providers serving 1.1 million residents in Maine and New Hampshire.
