MaineGeneral Health Names Chuck Hays CEO

Augusta, Maine-based MaineGeneral Health has named Chuck Hays as its new CEO effective Jan. 1, 2013, according to a Morning Sentinel report.

Mr. Hays is currently the CEO of MaineGeneral Medical Center’s two hospital campuses and oversees the system’s cancer care center and physicians practices. As CEO of MaineGeneral Health, Mr. Hays will also take on responsibility for the system’s long-term care facilities, Granite Hill Estates in Hallowell, Maine, and HealthReach HomeCare and Hospice based in Gardiner, Maine.

Scott Bullock is the current president and CEO of MaineGeneral Health. Mr. Bullock will remain the president of the system and will support Mr. Hays, according to the report.
