Luminis Health taps chief human resources officer

Amy Beales has been named chief human resources officer of Annapolis, Md.-based Luminis Health, effective Dec. 1.

Ms. Beales, who has more than 17 years of experience, will oversee human resources in support of the system’s 8,300 employees, according to a Dec. 2 news release shared with Becker’s.

She previously served as interim senior vice president and chief people officer at Washington, D.C.-based Children’s National Hospital. Ms. Beales has spearheaded recruitment and retention efforts, driven community engagement initiatives and led leadership diversity programs, according to the release.

Luminis Health includes more than 800 beds and nearly 100 care sites.
