1. Mr. Whittington comes to Lovelace from San Antonio-based Baptist Health System, where he served as market CFO.
2. While at Baptist, he oversaw the finances of five hospitals, 25 outpatient ambulatory sites, a school of health professionals, a real estate division and was responsible for many centralized market functions.
3. Equipped with 18-plus years of healthcare corporate accounting experience, his prior experience includes working at Riley Hospital in Meridian, Miss., and Venice (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.
