Longmont United Hospital appoints Dr. Christina Johnson CEO: 4 notes

Longmont (Colo.) United Hospital tapped Christina Johnson, MD, to serve as CEO, effective May 14, according to a BizWest report.

1. Dr. Johnson comes to Longmont United from Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colo., where she served as COO.

2. An emergency medicine physician, she also holds an MBA from the University of Denver.

3. She has 20-plus years of healthcare experience.

4. Dr. Johnson is the permanent successor to Mitchell Carson, who departed in August 2017.
