Little Company of Mary Hospital selects new CEO: 4 things to know

Evergreen Park, Ill.-based Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers appointed John P. Hanlon, MD, president and CEO, according to an Evergreen Park Patch report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Hanlon most recently served as vice president of medical affairs at the organization.

2. An ophthalmologist, he has been a member of the LCMH medical staff for 30-plus years.

3. He is a past president of the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and has received the distinguished service award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

4. He is the permanent successor to Dennis Reilly, who retired July 1.
