Lincoln Mendez appointed CEO of Boca Raton Regional Hospital: 3 notes

Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital selected Lincoln S. Mendez to serve as CEO, effective in August.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Mendez will succeed former CEO Jerry Fedele who plans to retire.

2. Mr. Mendez most recently served as CEO at Baptist Health’s South Miami (Fla.) Hospital where he led significant growth in its facilities, technology and program offerings, according to a report by Delray Newspaper.

3. Before this appointment, BRRH announced its intent to partner with Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida.
