LifePoint Hospitals appoints 3 vice presidents

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals has appointed three vice presidents in its legal department.

Kimberly Kikkawa has been promoted to vice president, associate general counsel for LifePoint’s Western Group, Fabio Fallico has been promoted to vice president, associate general counsel for the company’s Eastern Group and Joseph Ponder has joined LifePoint as vice president, information governance.

Ms. Kikkawa joined LifePoint in March 2014 as senior associate general counsel. Most recently, she was assistant vice president and operations counsel for Health Management Associates, formerly based in Naples, Fla. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and a JD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland.

Mr. Fallico also joined LifePoint in March 2014 as senior associate general counsel. He previously served as assistant vice president and operations counsel with HMA. Mr. Fallico earned a JD degree and an LLM in taxation from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.

Mr. Ponder most recently served as vice president of consulting services with Ingenuity Associates, a healthcare information systems consulting firm in Brentwood. Mr. Ponder earned an MBA from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.
