lifeIMAGE, a medical image exchange technology connecting healthcare networks, providers and patients, has named Janak Joshi senior vice president and chief technology officer.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Joshi.

 

1. In his role, he will drive strategic product delivery for the organization, according to lifeIMAGE.

 

2. Mr. Joshi has previously held healthcare and enterprise technology leadership roles at organizations such as Deloitte, Siemens Healthcare (acquired by Cerner), Generation Health (acquired by CVS Caremark Corporation) and Boston-based Partners HealthCare.

 

3. Mr. Joshi earned a bachelor’s degree from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, India, and an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
