Mr. Battafarano has served in the position on an interim basis since October 2014.
Mr. Battafarano has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the long-term and post-acute sectors. Before joining LifeCare, he served in several positions with Louisville, Ky.-based Kindred Healthcare, including COO, executive vice president and president of the hospital division.
