Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health named Jonathan Thierman, MD, PhD, president of LifeBridge Health Partners, effective Aug. 31.
Dr. Thierman currently serves as president and chief executive of ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers and Children’s Urgent Care Centers, which is part of LifeBridge Health Partners, according to an Aug. 18 health system news release.
He became president of ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers and Children’s Urgent Care Centers in 2024, overseeing more than 30 locations and 500,000 annual patient visits. He previously served as chief medical officer of LifeBridge Health Partners.
Dr. Thierman joined LifeBridge Health in 2017 as chief medical information officer and later served as medical director of the Virtual Hospital.
LifeBridge Health Partners includes nearly two dozen organizations providing services ranging from outpatient imaging and urgent care to skilled nursing, rehabilitation, senior living, fitness and other specialized services.
