LHN’s St. Joseph Hospital appoints Karen Fordham CEO: 5 things to know

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based St. Joseph Hospital selected Karen Fordham to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 22.

Here are five things to know:

1. Ms. Fordham previously served as president and CEO of Detroit Medical Center’s Huron Valley Sinai Hospital in Commerce, Mich.

2. She served in numerous leadership roles while at DMS, including as president and CEO of its Detroit Surgery Hospital and regional vice president of orthopedics and sports medicine.

3. She is equipped with more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience.

4. She holds an MBA from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

5. St. Joseph Hospital is a part of Fort Wayne-based Lutheran Health Network.
