Lee Health appoints new chief HR officer: 5 notes

Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health tapped Michael Wukitsch to serve as chief human resources officer, according to a Business Observer report.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Wukitsch most recently served as vice president of human resources for Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.

2. He previously served as executive vice president of human resources at Winfield, Ill.-based Cadence Health, which merged with Northwestern Medicine in 2014.

3. He has also served as vice president and chief HR officer for Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.

4. Mr. Wukitsch has 25 years of HR leadership experience.

5. He replaces Jon Cecil, who retired in May.
