Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, Conn., tapped Caren Lewis, BSN, RN, to serve as its chief nursing officer, according to a report by The Day.
Here are three points:
1. Most recently, Ms. Lewis worked at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
2. She succeeds Lauren Williams, who left the role last year.
3. Lawrence + Memorial Hospital became a part of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health in 2016. In her new role, Ms. Lewis will help oversee the integration of Lawrence + Memorial's clinical care policies with those at Yale New Haven Health.
