Mr. Buchanan is currently the vice president of operations for Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Ala., according to the report. He will replace interim CEO Bill Anderson, who has been at the helm since August.
Lawrence Medical Center and Helen Keller Hospital are both part of the Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital System.
