Larry Kaiser, MD. Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of Temple University Health System (Philadelphia). Dr. Kaiser, an internationally recognized healthcare executive, thoracic surgeon, researcher and author, is dean of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and senior executive vice president for health affairs at Temple University, president and CEO of Temple University Health System and a professor of thoracic medicine and surgery. Prior to joining Temple, Dr. Kaiser was president of the University of Texas Health Center at Houston. His research and clinical interests include lung cancer, malignant mesothelioma and mediastinal tumors. He is the author or co-author of 14 books and more than 250 original papers and is a current or past editorial board member of the Annals of Surgery, the American Journal of Surgery, the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and several other journals.
