Nancy Galvagni is no longer serving as CEO of the Kentucky Hospital Association, a spokesperson confirmed in a statement shared with Becker’s.
The association did not provide a reason for her departure. She had been with the organization for 46 years, according to a report from the Kentucky Lantern, citing a 2022 executive profile in The Lane Report.
Melanie Landrum, senior vice president of data, operations and innovation, has been named interim CEO.
The Kentucky Hospital Association, based in Louisville, represents hospitals, health systems and related organizations across the state.
“The board is focused on ensuring a smooth leadership transition and continued service to KHA members,” the association said.
The departure follows recent public criticism of the association’s executive compensation by state Senate President Robert Stivers, R-Manchester, though the association has not linked those comments to the leadership change, according to the Lantern.
