Keck Medicine of USC names hospital COO

USC Arcadia (Calif.) Hospital tapped Robert Shappley as its next chief operating officer.

He has 12 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as chief operating officer for Fountain Valley (Calif.) Regional Hospital, according to a June 20 news release. Mr. Shappley assumed his new role June 12, succeeding Steve Sisto as he retired. 

The hospital also recently selected a new CEO. Ikenna Mmeje took the helm March 13.
