Mr. Mmeje will begin his new role on March 13, according to a news release. He replaces Dan Ausman, who is retiring.
Previously, Mr. Mmeje was COO of both MemorialCare Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center and Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach.
