Here are four notes:
1. Most recently, Mr. Herbst served as the organization’s senior vice president and CFO. He assumed the CFO role in 1995, and the SVP position in 2001.
2. He came to Kaweah Delta from Ernst & Young, where he was a senior manager in the audit and consulting practice.
3. During his tenure at Kaweah Delta, he helped develop the organization’s cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric and adult hospitalist programs as well as played a key role in forming Kaweah Delta’s medical foundation partnership with Visalia Medical Clinic.
4. Mr. Herbst is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
