Here are four things to know about Mr. Koch.
1. He is a healthcare industry veteran, with experience in multiple senior leadership roles, as well as handling the complex billing needs for thousands of independent medical practice customers, according to a news release.
2. Prior to joining Kareo, Mr. Koch spent several years with healthcare technology company DocuTap, which focuses on the needs of urgent care practices.
3. He also previously served as vice president of revenue cycle solutions at Greenway, which provides EHR solutions and integrated clinically-driven medical billing services, and as COO of Medac, a revenue cycle management company.
4. Mr. Koch earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University in East Lansing.
