Kansas’ Sisters of Charity Leavenworth Health System Names CEO

Sisters of Charity Leavenworth Health System in Lenexa, Kan., has appointed Michael A. Slubowski as president and CEO, according to a hospital system news release.

Mr. Slubowski will assume his new role in Jan. 2011. In the meantime, he will work with current SCLHS president and CEO William M. Murray for the remainder of 2010 and thereafter in an advisory role until Mr. Murray’s retirement in June 2011.

Mr. Slubowski has held multiple leadership roles with Novi, Mich.-based Trinity Health for the past 10 years, most recently as president of Trinity’s Health Networks since July 2009.
