Liberal, Kan.-based Southwest Medical Center has promoted Trisha Potter to CFO.
Ms. Potter, a Liberal native, most recently served as the hospital’s controller, according to a Nov. 5 Southwest Medical Center news release. She returned to Southwest Medical Center in October 2025 after leaving for the Dallas area in 2021 to pursue other career opportunities.
She first joined the hospital in November 2009 as a payroll specialist. Over the next 12 years, she advanced through several accounting department roles, including staff accountant, accounting manager and controller.
Ms. Potter’s promotion was effective in September, according to the release.
