Ellinwood (Kan.) Hospital and Clinic has named Troy Moore as its new CEO.
Mr. Moore currently serves as a physical therapist and will continue providing inpatient and outpatient care while transitioning into the administrative role, according to a Jan. 20 hospital news release. He eventually plans to dedicate 25% of his time to patient care, focusing on sports and orthopedic conditions.
His initial priorities include improving internal communication, assessing the hospital’s financial health and establishing measurable objectives to support sustainable growth.
He succeeds co-interim CEOs Summer Zink, CFO, and Jill Ritchie, RN, chief nursing officer. They were named to the roles after CEO Kile Magner stepped down at the end of 2025.
Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic is expanding outpatient services and specialty care to increase access for local residents. Recent investments include a new surgery suite and expanded wound care offerings, the release said.
