Curtis Hawkinson has been named administrator of North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia, effective May 18.
Mr. Hawkinson brings more than 28 years of healthcare leadership experience and most recently served the past 19 years as CEO of Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, Kan., according to an April 17 hospital news release.
In his most recent role, he led efforts to improve financial stability, open a new hospital and develop a 340B program, the release said.
He succeeds Dave Garnas, who accepted a role as vice president of system operations for Salina (Kan.) Regional Health Center in March.
North Central Kansas Medical Center is a 14-bed critical access hospital. The hospital moved to a new facility in 2022 and has been affiliated with Salina Regional Health Center since 2016.
