Curtis Hawkinson will step down as CEO of Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville, Kan., effective Feb. 17.
“I leave with a grateful heart and feel blessed to be part of the history of CMH these past 19 years,” Mr. Hawkinson said in a Nov. 19 resignation letter to the board of trustees shared with Becker’s. “I wish CMH all the best and will do whatever is asked of me to secure an appropriate transition to a new CEO.”
He has led the hospital since December 2006, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously served as CEO of Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colo., from 1998 to 2006.
Community Memorial Healthcare is a 25-bed critical access hospital.
