Kaleida Health names Jamal Ghani COO

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health has named Jamal A. Ghani, MBA, MHA, executive vice president and COO.

As COO, Mr. Ghani will be responsible for the growth, development and leadership of Kaleida Health’s operating divisions, including its four hospitals, the Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York, long-term care and its ambulatory network.

Most, recently, Mr. Ghani served as chief executive administrative officer of Cleveland Clinic Florida, part of Ohio-based Cleveland Clinic. Prior to that, he served as president of Metro Health Systems in Wyoming, Mich., executive vice president and COO of Hurley Medical Center and president of Hurley Health Services in Flint, Mich., as well as chief administrative officer for Forest Hills (N.Y.) Hospital, part of North Shore-LIJ Health System in Great Neck, N.Y.
