Kaleida Health makes 2 leadership changes: 6 takeaways

1. Donald Boyd will serve as Kaleida Health’s new executive vice president and COO.

2. He was most recently executive vice president for business development and affiliations.

3. He has worked at Kaleida Health since 1998 and holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo.

4. Jonathan T. Swiatkowski was named vice president of finance and strategic integration for the Great Lakes Health System of Western New York, a planning entity comprised of Kaleida Health, University at Buffalo, ECMC Hospital and The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, all based in Buffalo.

5. Mr. Swiatkowski has worked at Kaleida Health since 2001, assuming the CFO role in 2014.

6. During his tenure as CFO, he helped oversee the expansion of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, N.Y., and the planning and fundraising for the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.
