Kaiser Permanente Orange County names COO

Joseph Tolentino, DNP, BSN, was named COO of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente’s Orange County service area.

Dr. Tolentino brings more than two decades of healthcare experience to the role, according to an April 4 news release shared with Becker’s. This includes 16 years with Kaiser Permanente Orange County, where he started as a registered nurse case manager. 

In his new role, he is responsible for day-to-day operations of Anaheim (Calif.) Medical Center and Irvine (Calif.) Medical Center, according to the release.

Kaiser Permanente Orange County serves more than 600,000 members.
