Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has named Carrie Owen Plietz as group senior vice president and COO of care delivery.
In this newly created role, Ms. Owen Plietz will oversee hospital operations, pharmacy services, nursing, continuum of care, and consumer and patient experience across all Kaiser Permanente markets, according to a Dec. 8 health system news release.
She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2020 as regional president for Northern California and most recently served as interim executive vice president, overseeing all hospital markets and patient care services.
Before joining the health system, Ms. Owen Plietz held leadership roles at Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System and Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health.
