Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System named Jeremy Gardner, MD, chief medical officer, effective Oct. 19.
As CMO, Dr. Gardner will work with medical staff and leaders on clinical priorities, physician engagement, quality and patient safety, according to an Oct. 6 system news release. He will continue his practice as an orthopedic surgeon in addition to his new responsibilities.
Dr. Gardner has been with Altru for more than 16 years and most recently served as medical director of orthopedics and neurosciences.
