PeaceHealth taps interim leader to head Oregon region

Heather Wall, MSN, RN, was named chief executive of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth’s Oregon region after serving in the role on an interim basis for six months.

She will lead services across the region, which includes PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence and PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center, plus clinics and specialty services, according to an Oct. 6 health system news release.

Ms. Wall began her career as a neurology nurse at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District, the release said. Before her interim role, she served as vice president of patient care operations after being named CNO of Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in 2018.

“In the last 22 years, I have seen first-hand the collective excellence, passion and commitment of our talented teams,” Ms. Wall said in the release.

PeaceHealth has about 16,000 caregivers and nine medical centers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
