Kadlec health system promotes chief administrative officer to CEO: 5 things to know

Richland, Wash.-based Kadlec health system selected Reza Kaleel to serve as its new CEO, effective in January 2019, according to a Tri-City Herald report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Kaleel is currently chief administrative officer at Kadlec, which includes a hospital as well as a network of clinics.

2. Prior to joining Kadlec in 2016, Mr. Kaleel served as executive vice president and COO of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo.

3. Mr. Kaleel succeeds Lane Savitch, who is retiring at the end of 2018.

4. Mr. Savitch assumed the top post at the health system in 2016.

5. During Mr. Savitch’s tenure, the health system added a 10-story patient tower and grew its staff to include 3,700-plus employees.
