Josh Tinkle appointed chief administrative officer for Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Flagstaff market

Flagstaff-based Northern Arizona Healthcare named Josh Tinkle chief administrative officer of the Flagstaff market, effective in mid-August.

Mr. Tinkle most recently led operations at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, overseeing a 767-bed hospital, level 1 trauma center and 27 clinics. He worked at West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health for eight years.

Mr. Tinkle holds a master of healthcare administration degree from Des Moines (Iowa) University.

He succeeds Florence L. Spyrow, who was named president and CEO of the organization in October 2018.
