Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie selected Joseph T. Sawyer Jr., to serve as president of Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

1. Mr. Sawyer most recently served as interim COO of Robert Packer Hospital.

2. He previously served as vice president of imaging systems and facility operations as well as vice president of ancillary and support services at Guthrie.

3. He has worked at Guthrie since 2006.

4. He is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives.

5. Mr. Sawyer holds an MBA from Bellevue (Neb.) University.
