Beckley (W. Va.) VA Medical Center appointed John D. Stout associate director, according to a report by The Register-Herald.
Here are three points:
1. Mr. Stout previously worked for HHS, where he served in CEO and COO roles at Indian Health Services' critical access hospitals.
2. He has also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
3. In his new role, Mr. Stout will oversee nonclinical operations at Beckley VA Medical Center and two community-based clinics.
