Paul Deeringer, chief strategy officer of Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health, is stepping away from his role after 13 years with the health system.

Mr. Deeringer announced his departure in a March 18 LinkedIn post.

“Serving this organization has been one of the great privileges of my professional life,” he wrote. “I am deeply proud of the work we’ve done together — strengthening physician alignment, advancing major service line initiatives, expanding access through ambulatory growth and helping position the system for long-term success in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.”

He did not announce a new role. He joined the health system in 2015, according to his LinkedIn profile, and has served as chief strategy officer since 2023.
