Hackensack Meridian Health's Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J., appointed Ellen Angelo, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer.
Five points:
1. Prior to assuming the CNO role in late May at Jersey Shore, Dr. Angelo was vice president and CNO at Brick, N.J.-based Ocean Medical Center.
2. She has also served as senior manager of patient care at Ocean Medical Center.
3. Dr. Angelo is an adjunct professor of nursing and medical programs at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J.
4. She is a member of the Organization of Nurse Leaders and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
5. She holds a doctor of nursing practice degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
