Jennifer Yartym appointed president of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center

Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie health system named Jennifer Yartym president of Guthrie Cortland (N.Y.) Medical Center, effective Sept. 9.

Ms. Yartym is currently vice president of operations at Guthrie Corning (N.Y.) Hospital. She has worked at Guthrie for nearly 20 years, serving in several leadership roles at Corning Hospital, including senior director.

She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from Alfred (N.Y.) University.

Ms. Yartym succeeds Mark Webster, who departed as CEO after a five-year tenure.
